Here are a few great ways to save the environment when planning your big day:
• Autumn offers to perfect climate, the hot days have come to an end yet they are still lovely and warm and the nights are crisp but not cold. Using natural air by turning off the air conditioner and allowing the beautiful Autumn breeze flow through your reception venue.
• Candles! Candles are not only romantic but they will save on electricity. Fill your reception venue with beeswax candles and let the soft candlelight fill the room. • Rather than bomboniere why not offset your guests carbon emissions for their travel to and from your wedding.
• Print your invitations, menus and place cards on recycled unbleached paper. The brown tones of the paper match an autumn theme perfectly.
• Buy your centrepieces and decorations from a thrift store. Decorate with beautiful vintage vases, bottles and anything else you can find at a thrift store, you will also save money in the process!
